Get your Darn vaccine!

Our governor came down with the Covid. I reckon we shouldn't be surprised. That boy kept wanting to pretend it's not a problem. Well, it ain't for him because he got his shots!

Now, I'm a sensible man and I like to think that my family's a sensible bunch of folks too. We all got out shots when we could. I'm an old fart, I'm at high risk. It makes me sad to think that this man is going around telling schools they can't wear masks when the kids can't get vaccinated.

I want things to go back to normal. I want to walk around Walmart without a mask on. I'ts not comfortable, but I do it. It's the Christian thing to do. Jesus says, treat others the way you want to be treated. Well I don't want no one to get me sick, so I will wear my mask to make sure I don't get others sick either.

Now this man, Governor Abbott, is sick with Covid. It's all fine because he's the governor and can get the best care unlike the rest of us regular folk. I'm sure he'll continue to tell people it isn't a big deal because he isn't dying like everyone else.

But please every one, if you care about your neighbors please get the vaccine. Even though I don't agree with the man's policies, he's in my prayers and I hope he's in your prayers also.
