I ain’t dying for the grandchildren I don’t have!

Well, Randy got fed up with me complaining again, so he helped me get back in to this and made it easier for me to use. Though Randy is good with computers and such, he still hasn’t found the right person to settle down with and give me and Ma grandchildren. As a result, when my Lt. Governor says things like I should sacrifice my life in this pandemic for the economy for my grandchildren, Randy hasn’t given me any!

Kidding aside, I can’t imagine what goes on in that man’s mind! What kind of God-fearing Christian would suggest that they lay down their lives for the sake of the economy. The Bible says give what is to God to God and what is to Caesar to Caesar. I reckon I missed the bit where Jesus says to give your life to save the economy.

I’ve been holed up at home with nothing better to do than follow what every one else if following on the news and on my ipad. I seen pictures of people in Europe and New York City and it scares me. This certainly isn’t the America when I was a boy. The America I know’s strength is solidarity and coming across political and racial divides to accomplish incredible things. This virus is being politicized to the point where I think a lot of people are going to die.

I hope we can get beyond that and save as many people as possible. No one should be sacrificed for the economy.
